Decisions
All decisions are made by the Admissions Committee. Decisions were mailed out on Thursday, January 21, 2010.  Thereafter, we have rolling admissions.

Registration for the ninth grade takes place on the first Saturday in February according to archdiocesan policy. Students who apply after this date should call the Studies Office (201-339-7142, ext. 17) for information on completing the process.

HFA Admissions for upper grade students usually requires an appointment, transfer card from previous school, registration form and transcript record. Midyear transfers are possible only if the previous school was also on a 4x4 intensive schedule. Call the main office (201-339-7341) for further information and to schedule an appointment.

Tuition Assistance
Academic scholarships are offered annually to eighth graders on the basis of their COOP scores, their transcripts and their elementary school recommendations. These scholarships are renewable each year for students who maintain good academic, disciplinary and service records.

Financial Aid is offered to students whose parents demonstrate financial need by completing an application from Private School Aid Service which is available at Registration or through the Finance Office. Students are strongly encouraged to take the COOP exam and submit applications to HFA because individuals, foundations and faith-based agencies offer additional assistance to families who have applied. For more information, call Mrs. Denise Lew, Business Manager, at 201-339-7341 x15.

Falcon for a Day
The Falcon-for-a-Day program provides an opportunity for students to experience HFA life. Eighth grade girls may schedule a visit, preferably in October through November. The number of visitors per day is limited, so please make your reservation early. When making the appointment, be sure to mention a particular ambassador, level of study, or preferred date. On the day of your visit, report to the main office by 7:45 AM.; your ambassador will escort you to the info session and to class. Lunch will be provided and the day will end at 2:25 PM. (Dress is casual, but should be appropriate for school.)
